Infineer is a long established provider of Cashless Payment Solutions. Originally formed back in the 1970’s to provide photocopier controllers, the company has developed it’s technology from an original magnetic stripe solution, through contact smartcards and proximity cards to the latest Biometric solutions using Fingerprint Identification.
The company designs, builds and supports all its products from it’s head office in Bangor, Northern Ireland from where we market our products directly in the UK and Ireland, with field support personnel strategically located throughout. We have an international user base with sites throughout Europe, North America and Australasia, all of whom are supported by independent dealers in their region.
The Infineer range of solutions is built around a combination of software and hardware, and the products are tailored to specific vertical markets. For Cashless Catering in Schools we have MIDAS a system which can utilise a range of options for identifying students including Card, PIN, Fingerprint or bar-code. In commercial sites where Corporate Caterers wish to implement a cashless payment system we have ChipNet3. This system can utilise existing access control cards for cashless catering as well as cashless vending.
ChipNet3 is also implemented by Universities and colleges who require a complete campus card solution incorporating automatic card issuance of a card capable of handling multiple applications. Theses will include Cashless Payments, Print and Copy Control, Registration, Student Voting and even control of Laundry Machines.
